Health coaching takes you on an empowering journey towards the life you want to live, and the health-related goals you would like to achieve. This process of behaviour change happens overtime and is proven to be more effective with the support & accountability from a qualified, professional health coach.  This is why we offer multiple session packages, and not single sessions. 

All our packages begin with an initial (no obligation) Client & Coach meet & greet session of 15 mins, to ensure Coach and Client a good fit before a health coaching package is purchased.

Once one of Recalibrate’s three packages are purchased the client received either four, six or eight sessions, depending on their package.  The health coach works with the client during the sessions to help them achieve the following.

  • Understanding and discussing of their health goals.
  • Coach uses motivational interviewing to help clients identify and move forward with their goals.
  • Guidance on how to use Firstbeat Life device (wellness wearable technology).
  • Access to latest scientific evidence and lifestyle medicine advice – including the role of food, sleep, movement and managing stress so clients are empowered to make changes.
  • Providing knowledge on how to achieve sustainable behaviour change, using behaviour changes skills and techniques. 
  • Provide an accountability partner who has the time and knowledge to walk with client through their journey to help them stay on track.
  • Utilising Firstbeat health data to raise awareness and develop insight so the client can understand their unique health picture.

Our team of Recalibrate Health Coaches are all registered medical professionals with specialised training and skills in coaching and behaviour change to support you/your client, in making sustainable lifestyle changes that will improve overall health and wellbeing for good. Our Recalibrate Coaches are all PREKURE Certified and approved members of the professional health coaching body Health Coaches Association of New Zealand and Australia (HCANZA).

Think of health coaching like this: instead of just giving you a fish, we’ll teach you how to fish. Rather than handing you solutions, we’ll help you uncover your own path to health. Health Coaches don’t replace other health professionals, we complement them by focusing on behaviour change and personal empowerment. Instead of dictating what you should do, we’ll work with you to identify your own goals and create personalised strategies to achieve them.

We’ll dive into what really matters to you and figure out how you can achieve your health goals in a way that lasts.
